Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Position Description Position Title: Production Manager Department: Production Reports to: Artistic Director Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC), a six-million dollar Chicago-based dance institution, seeks Production Manager for full time, year-round employment. The Production Manager oversees all technical aspects for HSDC, at home and on tour, including a production staff of 5, production shop, production budget, equipment rentals/transportation, contacts/contracts guest designers. Strong knowledge of all technical departments required. Domestic and international touring experience preferred. Works with booking agents/artistic/administrative staff to select, contract and advance performance venues. Works closely with artistic/administrative staffs as part of the strategic management team. Creates and monitors production department budgets. Involved in facility maintenance issues. Start date January 2007. Salary commensurate with experience.
