The Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre is looking for a mix engineer. The position, if becoming permanent, will include a full benefits package from the Marriott Corporation. The duties required are as follows: Attend rehearsals when possible to become familiar with upcoming productions, assist in the load-in and tech of each production, run each mainstage (some TYA as well) maintaining the standards of the design as required by the designer and the overall production. Though, there is a department supervisor, you must be willing and able to work unsupervised. Our sound system is complex and grows more so as we move forward. Prior experience mixing multiple wireless mics in conjunction with at least a small sized orchestra in a live production environment is required. Familiarity with the following system elements would be a plus: SFX playback system, ProTools, large format consoles, and digital consoles, as well as samplers. You must be able to demonstrate efficient trouble shooting skills, and be open to learning new things.
